Park Parade Full AV Installation

Brief…

In 2020 we completed a whole home renovation for Stephen which comprised of an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge sound system with TV’s throughout and a strong WiFi network. Stephen purchased another property in 2021 with the intention of renovating again. Our brief was to supply and install exactly what he had previously as he enjoyed the ease of use of the Sonos system along with in his words ‘Rocking WiFi’.
This time Stephen also wanted a basement cinema room. It’s always nice to be invited back by a very happy customer no matter how big or small the project is and we were delighted to be a part of the project.

What we did…

Lounge

Starting in the lounge, We installed a 55″ Sky Glass TV and a TP-link wireless access point.

Kitchen/Dining

With this room being open plan and long, we knew that we needed something sleek to fit the style of both the kitchen and dining places. We went with 4 Gallo Acoustic (GA) Micro SE’s in a custom made copper casing along with a GA Profile subwoofer hidden behind a radiator cover. All being control from a Sonos amp. We also installed a 50″ Samsung Frame TV and a Sky Puck.

Master Bed & En-suite

Here we fitted 2 Monitor Audio (MA) CS 180’s ceiling speakers in the master bedroom and some slightly smaller MA CS 160’s in the en-suite. Again we went with a Sonos amp which is down in the cinema room cupboard. Installing another 50″ Samsung TV, Sky Puck and TP-link wireless access point.

Cinema Room

This is where we keep the toys. Starting with audio, we installed 3 Monitor Audio W250-LCR in wall speakers along the front and 2 Gallo Acoustic Micro-SE for rears along with a Monitor Audio Radius subwoofer. All powered from a Denon AVRX2700 8K AV Receiver.

For projection, we went for an EPSON EH-TW9400 and installed a 100″ fixed frame acoustically transparent projection screen over the top of the front speakers.

We also had some design input while installing the lighting, working with the joiners they built a coffer around the top of the room, so we could run in LED RGBW strip lights to be controlled from Rako (including the downlighters).

To get everything working in unison together control4 was the simplest answer for this room all controlled from an SR260 remote.

Back Garden/Bar

For the bar area we made sure we had a strong enough Wi-Fi signal from for us to wall mount 2 Sonos One SL’s.
