Commercial Install for ZERUM

Brief…

Although we do carry out installations in both commercial and residential properties at Sensory Integrated, we find that most of our projects tend to be in the residential space. However, we recently had the chance to travel to Manchester to carry out an installation in a brand new office space.

Zerum got in touch with us because they required conferencing equipment for several new conference rooms and new screens for a staff area. We were more than happy to come up with an innovative solution for this.

Solution…

Upon arrival we met with Zerum to confirm the strategy for the rooms. In the conference room, we began by tunnelling the USB & HDMI cables from the TV into the wall and down underneath the flooring to the floor box; positioned centrally underneath the conference table.  Once cables were in place, we mounted screens (55″ and 75″) in each conference room, along with a Yealink UVC40 video bar securely underneath.
We chose to use the Yealink UVC40 video bar because its “plug and play” function meant that it was extremely easy for staff members to connect to any screen with any laptop.

An additional TV was was installed in the office staff area and since there were no aerial points, we installed a ROKU 4k streaming stick so that staff were able to stream services such as news, Amazon, Netflix etc.

Overall, we managed to create a streamlined conferencing set up that was both easy to use and tidy to look at (we love those hidden cables)!
