In this case, We were lucky to find that the customers property was of modern construction techniques using plasterboard ‘dot n dab’ onto blockwork. This method usually leaves a 10mm gap between the blockwork and plasterboard, which is just enough for us to squeeze (with our magic), the cables through. This method is always the neatest way to ensure a nice quick filling job smoothed ready for the decorator.

But don’t worry if you have solid plastered walls like traditional browning and skim. We can still install to a high standard hiding those unsightly cables by chasing the wall and plastering up afterwards. It just takes a little longer.

With regards to our choice of equipment, After listening to both the Sonos Playbar and Sonos Beam, the decision was made to use the cheaper option of a Sonos Beam, the customer also liked the idea of the unit being smaller and sitting an the mantle-piece.
